Virtual Reality Processor
If you're not a VR-Soft developer, and you want to buy Oculus Rift as soon as possible, maybe you've even made an excuse, you can be called an enthusiast. And if you're a computer enthusiast playing games (which is obvious if the first condition is met), you may enjoy a separate collection of PCs. Also, you may have noticed that the official system requirements for Rift include the AMD video, but there is no mention of the central processors of this firm. A similar situation with Oculus Ready computers.
This situation is unpleasant: the silic of eternal monopoly Intel has been recommended by the producer of the best known VR-pockets, although many users collect computers on AMD chips for financial reasons and produce similar productivity at lower prices. In the eyes of many users, the Intel processor has become a critical system requirement. Finally, a discriminating swing can be extinguished.
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) issued a list of processors recommended for the VR machine assembly.
First of all, it should be noted that the application of Oculus Windows to verify the computer to meet the requirements of Rift simply reads CPUID, and if the chip does not produce Intel describes the incompatibility completely regardless of its productivity. So when your AMD system screen shows a red cross from Oculus Rift Compatibility Check Tool, it doesn't mean it's not good for virtual reality. You just have another processor.

The representative of AMD, however, assured that the processors from the new list would provide users with a qualitative virtual reality, especially when DirectX would enter the equation. He also notes that when the VR-Ger case is concerned, the central processor falls the first important video card.
Oculus did not include any of the eight AMD chips presented in its sof and recommendations, and AMD itself did not provide productivity tests that could become evidence base. However, it is unlikely that FX-9590 or any FX-8000 chip will be too weak for virtual reality♪
