It is known that the first new technologies are not the most useful in terms of public utility, such as porn and entertainment. Virtual reality isn't the exception, which is at least last year's fever around the game with the added reality of Pokemon Go. In an ideal world, it would be better if new technologies were the first to reach, for example, before education. But it's a tradition of conservative (if private specialized or experimental schools are not taken into account) - even ordinary computers are dropping out of many schools for so long as they're getting out of date.
In 2016, scientists from the Moscow Institute of Technology conducted a study on the extent to which students are ready to introduce new technologies into the learning process. MTI researchers were primarily concerned about the audience ' s perception of virtual reality, the tracking of physiological data and the use of neurointerfees. The sample was not very representative, with over 200 MBA students participating in the survey, but the results showed that adults (who are often less open to innovations) considered that the educational process needed to be modernized: 44 per cent responded.
Some of the most promising technologies in education are virtual, complemented and mixed (MR) reality: these are now developing all the world ' s largest IT gypsies, and equipment must not be expensive. Like the simplest ones. Virtual reality points Google Cardboard is only a few hundred roubles and sufficient smartphone with a designated special application to deal with them.
The Russian State programme ' s specialists, the National Technology Initiative, provide the following directions for the development of an enriched and virtual reality: the development of virtual avatars, media platforms, as well as training trainers, such as what are going to be installed in the Space Training Centre. There are no specific schools-related developments. But that doesn't mean there's nothing going on in Russia about virtual reality.
