How virtual reality technology can change journalism

Of the majority of the virtual reality film projects, the Cyria project has clearly been hit primarily by its clear socio-political focus. He asks new-generation film makers: what can the potential of these technologies, developing seven-mile steps be applied? For fun? For business? For education? For world peace?

I'm standing on one of the streets in Syria, and I hear a blasting bomb. The call in the ears is so strong that I can barely distinguish remote screams through smoke clubs. Attacking a man who hugs his bleeding favorite. People run around looking for shelter. That's where I take my own. virtual reality helmet

This is indeed the area where VR technologies (virtual reality) have been used, which has not previously been conceived either by the creators or by the pioneers. This seems so obvious: it is a virtual reality that does not just put itself in the position of the chief hero or participant in the events on the screen, but actually see the world as its eyes, become a virtual replica. A real eldorado for dramators, documentaries and... journalists.

The Cyria project created Nonny de la Pena, a graduate of Harvard University, who was able to work as a correspondent of Newsweek and became one of the first experimenters in a virtual reality. Its goal is to open the world a new type of journalism, a virtual journalism that will allow everyone to be in the hot spots of the planet and perhaps become a little more humane.

Chris Milk, an American photographer and a video director known for his art-installations, is also experimenting in virtual reality. He was the producer of the virtual media show for neofolk music Beck in 2014, turning it into a three-dimensional audio-visual demonstration.

He was famous for his 42-second short film, in which one person ' s life was laid down: in 2010, Chris ' s interest in a different way of knowing, which deeply affects the audience ' s emotions, has already been demonstrated by the new reality.
