How Much More Virtual Reality Points Are Cheaper
Virtual reality has reached the World Factory: China is preparing to sink the VR market. More than 100 companies from the Sub-Earth Rinus have issued budget VRs and hedsettes, report DigiTimes. The market will soon be flooded with a variety of cheap VRs from China
Virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) today is either a digital world immersion with a VR-shelm on the head or a managed virtual projection (seed again through ad hoc glasses) at real world sites.
The technology of immersion into virtual reality, like the content concerned, is far from ideal and will certainly be improved, but China has decided that if demand is already available, supply must be provided.
Modern three-dimensional immersion systems are presented by two categories of devices: hedsette with lens, where the smartphone is attached, which is displayed; helmet with its own screen is connected to a computer or player.
It is believed that the mob-based mobsters do not have a full effect on immersion into virtual reality, but to meet VR at the very time. In addition, such hedsettes are relatively cheap.
As a basis for cheap VR, Chinese companies take the Google CardBoard budget model. Using plastics instead of cartons, CPD ventors create simple helmet-masks, supplemented by lens.
Budget and Medieval segments are expected to be flooded soon, and fortunately for consumers, prices will fall. Chinese producers are interested in development of virtual reality: This is the largest market with great potential. Many analysts compare VR/AR with the mobile market boom. Over 1 billion different hedsettes are projected to be delivered over the next seven to eight years.
Medium-sized price models provide for the possibility of switching to a smartphone by means of USB-interfeis or a VR-container from a memory map. In addition, individual helmets of virtual reality from Chinese producers are equipped with their own VC chips.
For the time being, there will be no competition for the top HTC Vive and Oculus Chinese gadgets. But, on the other hand, they're worth less than once, and they're allowed to know the technology.
But there are interesting projects. One of the many Chinese producers, Pico, presented a curious version of a virtual reality helmet called Neo.
The kit is a Geimpat, in which the top mobile processor Qualcomm 820, 4 GB operational memory, 32 GB built memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the memory map. It allows us to use a system without a smartphone. The screen in the helmet allows 1,200 x 1080 for each eye, the distance between pupils is built.The helmet can be connected to the PC or used with the heimpat. In addition to traditional buttons, the Geimpat is equipped with a multisensor cart on the rear, gyroscor and accelerometer. Operation system - Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a firm shell.
